Orrerie Merchant
Service status
Whether the merchant dashboard, the checkout and the API were answering when this page was sent to you, and every incident and planned maintenance Orrerie has published for them.
Checkout and Merchant API are switched off
Orrerie has switched them off, and no planned maintenance covers this, so it is listed under incidents below. Payments already sent still arrive in your wallet.

What a reading means
A reading says that a part of the service answered Orrerie's own health check a moment before this page was sent. It is evidence about that part as a whole. It cannot tell you that one business, one order, one network or one webhook delivery is working.
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
| Working | The part answered its health check, and the reading was less than 90 seconds old when this page was sent. |
| Degraded | The part answers, and something in it is slow or partly failing. |
| Down | The part says it is not available. |
| Planned maintenance | The part is switched off for the planned maintenance Orrerie published, listed on this page with its times. |
| Switched off | Orrerie has switched the part off and no planned maintenance covers it. It is listed under incidents, with the time it was first seen switched off, until it is back on. |
| Not measured | This page has no fresh reading for the part: the reading was missing, too old, or not in a form this page trusts. |
This page shows Working only when a fresh reading that says so was written into it as it was sent. A reading that is missing or old is shown as Not measured, never as working. An incident that Orrerie has published stays at the top of this page until it is resolved, whatever the readings say.
The page does not update itself. The time of its reading is printed at the top: reload the page for a new one, and read an old time as old news. Nothing is checked from your browser and nothing about you is sent: the reading is taken by Orrerie's servers and is the same for every visitor. Orrerie's hosting can itself fail, and this page with it, so a page that does not load is not a sign that all is well.
Following this page from your tools
The incidents and planned maintenance on this page are also published as an Atom feed and as JSON, for your on-call tools and status aggregators. Both list every published notice, newest first, with its state, the parts it affects and its times. Neither carries a reading: whether a part answers now is only on this page. A notice posted between two releases of these docs appears here first.
Your money during an outage
An outage does not change who controls your funds. Your wallets are on their networks, not on Orrerie's servers, and each needs two of three keys of which Orrerie holds one.
- A payment already sent still arrives in your wallet. Its order is marked paid when the service can read the network again, and its webhook is sent then.
- While the checkout is down no new order can be started. Nothing is charged to anyone.
- While the dashboard is down you cannot approve a refund or a payout there. For a long outage, the recovery tool at recover.orrerie.com moves funds with your browser key backup and your Orrerie app's backup words, without Orrerie. Keeping funds safe says how.
- Webhooks that could not be delivered are sent again on the retry schedule, and every event can be resent for 30 days.
If something is wrong and this page says working
A reading covers a part as a whole, so one request can fail while the part is working. Check the request first: every error carries a code with its own entry on the errors page, and a request_id that names the request. If the answer does not explain it, write to Orrerie's support with the request_id and the time.
